San Francisco Home Price Gains Among Nation’s Largest in 2013

The San Francisco metro area was one of just three regions in the country where home price increases topped 20 percent in 2013, according to the December S&P/Case-Shiller Home Price Index. On a month-over-month basis, home prices in San Francisco grew 0.2 percent in December, one of six metro areas in the composite to show positive gains from the previous month.
